- Description:
- Eight machine sets, each with a nominal apparent power of 50 MVA, are installed in the Hohenwarte 2 pumped storage plant (PSW). The synchronous generators are designed for motor and generator operation in the over- and under-excited range. Currently, the excitation takes place via static excitation devices mit fully controlled bridges and an energy supply via a voltage transformer.
After approx. 30 years of operation, the reconstruction of the excitation devices of the synchronous machines in half plant 2 is necessary and planned. The renewal of the excitation device for PSS F and optional for PSS E, G, and H.
The order is divided as follows:
- Renewal of exciter device PSS F, planned for 2024
- Optional renewal of exciter device PSS E, planned for 2024
- Optional renewal of exciter device PSS G, planned for 2025
- Optional Renewal of excitation system PSS H, planned2025
The goal is to set up four identical excitation systems with the same software versions in half plant 2, which correspond to the latest state of the art and ensure safe plant operation
all intended operating modes. The given grid connection conditions must be met andTo avoid the effects of harmonics on the auxiliary network.
