Description:
The Wasserstraßen- und Shipping Office West German channels (WSA) intends to replace the Groppenbrucher Brücke No. 10, which transfers the state road L 654 (Königsheide) via the Dortmund-Ems Canal at DEK-KM 7.823.
The reason for the replacement of the bridge structure is the poor structural condition. The Groppenbrucher Bridge No. 10 is located in the Dortmund Mengede district, in the Groppenbruch district and forms a connection between the districts of Dortmund Mengede and Lünen Brambauer.
The planning provides for a replacement of the bridge structure in the same route under full closure. In order to minimize the blocking period for the convicted traffic route, the entire steel superstructure including expansion loads is planned to build and store on the assembly area before the traffic route is blocked. In the immediate vicinity of the existing structure, an area currently used for agriculture is to be used for the time of the implementation of measures as a construction site cleaning and (de) assembly area.
