- Replacement procurement of a drilling track for use underground in the Morsleben repository A new drilling track is to be purchased for underground use. The drilling crawler is intended to carry out drilling work for various mining applications Among other things, for carrying out solid or core drilling of: •technical drilling (including for laying cables), •geological drilling (including to determine the geology using drill cores and •geotechnical drillings (including for geometric operational monitoring) The Federal Society for End Storage mbH (BGE) is the operator of the Morsleben final storage facility for radioactive waste (ERAM) in Saxony-Anhalt. Between 1971 and 1991 and from 1994 to 1998, around 37,000 cubic meters of weak and medium-level radioactive waste is stored. The final storage facility is to be shut down in the future with the waste remaining. A new drilling track is to be purchased for underground use. The drilling caterpillar is intended to carry out drilling work for various mining industries Applications carried out, including for the execution of solid or core drilling of: •technical drilling (including for laying cables), •geological drilling (including to determine the geology using drill cores and •geotechnical drilling (including for geometric operational monitoring).
