Description:
At the Golm location, the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology uses special laboratory areas for analytics and microscopy in the basement area of the old building. These areas must be protected by an uninterruptible power supply. This function is currently fulfilled by a Galaxy PW200 UPS system with a nominal output of 160 kVA, which was installed in 2004. After 22 years of operation, the system is to be replaced by a modern, modular 150 kVA UPS system.
