At the beginning of 2025, a dossier for a Rnai Fungizid is expected to have the German evaluation authorities, which is to have a specific effect against the mildeway of the Erysiphe Necator vineyard. The patent for the sequence of the RNAI active ingredient is publicly available. Assuming that sequences of homologer genes are more likely in phylogenetically closer -related species than with distant related species, the actual specificity of the selected sequence can be checked in several steps. The steps already compiled in English from a regulatory point of view can be found in Appendix 1 of the service description. ERYSIPHE NECATER belongs to the Erysiphaceae family, which includes around 20 genera and around 1000 species. This family is again one of around 33 families of the Heliothales order. This order is the most species -rich order in the class of Leotiomycetes, which includes a total of 13 orders. The leotiomycetes are an extensive class, which, in addition to 12 other classes, can be assigned to the subphylum of the Pezizomycotina.
