Description:
The project should investigate which legal and economic conditions must be created to create the attractiveness and user-friendliness of the intermodal integrated SPV in the environmental network, ie the combination of various modes of transport (SPFV, SPNV, local sharing offers, taxi, etc.) to a comparable level as Increasing in individual traffic. The project should examine both the exchange of travel information, but above all the interaction of booking systems.
For this purpose, a comprehensive status quo search for current framework conditions of the intermodal integrated SPV should be carried out, with the focus on how these inhibit or promote the intermodality. Comparative to this, in a second step, the framework conditions should be considered in other countries in which the intermodal integrated SPV accounts for a significant share in the modal split and in which also efforts to promote the intermodal integrated SPV are followed. In a third step, finally, possible options for action to promote the intermodal integrated SPV in Germany will be identified.
