- The subject is the implementation of the research project "Feasibility analysis of AI-supported pose recognition as an assistance system on lathes" through contract research. As part of the research project, the technical feasibility of a AI-supported, camera-based assistance system is examined. Suitable AI models for detecting and distinguishing dangerous from permissible working methods should be used as open source software (according to OSAID 1.0 with the proviso that training data is not must be disclosed) are developed and published. In addition, the results will be implemented as a prototype in a functional, transportable demonstrator. The robustness of the method is tested under realistic conditions Working conditions and existing technical and organizational limitations are examined. The project results should be documented transparently and evaluated with regard to their transferability to other use cases.
