- As part of the general planning to be commissioned, it is important to develop and structurally implement a technically and creatively sophisticated plan and to coordinate a variety of issues in the interests of the success of the overall project. The area for title 1 (Kampstrasse) covers 22,656 m2, those for title 2 (surroundings of the Reinoldikirche) 9,054 m2 and those for title 3 (Petergasse and Luehringhof) 1,240 m2. A planning competition was held for the planning area in 1998. The streets adjoining the project area to the east and west, Kampstrasse, the western area and Bruederweg, were carried out according to the plans of the author, who was awarded first prize at the time. The middle area was not implemented. The Dortmund City Council decided on a new development of the redesign in a resolution dated December 12, 2024. Already at the beginning of In 2025, a contractor was found to carry out a participation process. This process was carried out in the spring, and its results were incorporated into the task for the solution proposal in the current general planning procurement procedure. There was an office next to it commissioned for project management, which is already involved in the general planning procurement process and is involved in this.
