  • The German Museum (DM) was founded in 1903 and is 73,000 m² BGF and a total exhibition space of 41,111 m² of one of the largest scientific-technical museums in the world. With around 1.5 million national and international visitors and visitors every year, it is the most visited Museum of Germany. As a scientific institution of a general state significance, it houses a collection of over 107,000 objects in over 50 subject areas on technical cultural assets.
    From the exhibition Physics, two exhibits were cleared in 2016 with so-called suffering bottles. The suffering bottle, also astimile bottle, condensation bottle or bottle capacitor is an early historical design of an electrical capacitor. The construction consists of a glass vessel on which electrically insulated metal coverings are mounted on the inner and outside. The glass represents the insulator between the two metal coverings, the two metal coverings are the electrodes of a capacitor (Wikipedia).
