Description:
The city of Mainz has decided to dismantle the elevated road in Mainz-Mombach. The structure carries the inner-city 4-lane expressway K17, which has now been de-dedicated and closed, over three intersecting railway lines, a tram line, several inner-city streets and private buildingsauungen.
The implementation of the project is carried out by the Mainz City Planning Office, Road Operations and Bridges Department.
The city of Mainz awards the contract in a competitive dialogue on the basis of Section 3b EU Paragraph 4 VOB/A, the application conditions published herewith and the other contractsdocument. The city of Mainz reserves the right to adjust the requirements for the offers, taking into account the requirements of equal treatment, transparency and competition, in the course of the procedure for objective reasons. The subject of the competitive dialogue is the planning and dismantling of the elevated road in Mainz - a bridge structure that spans the 1.3km long, two-lane (in each direction) district road. The street has been de-dedicated and closed to traffic.
Construction area is the immediate surroundings of the building. The requirements for land use must be observed. The construction site is documented in the documents for the ordernotice must be marked. In addition, there are areas owned by the city of Mainz and third parties that can be used for the construction project in coordination with the owners, as well as the respective requirements and options. If possible, the elevated road should be dismantled by the end of 2026.
