Description:
The water requirement of the Main Donau Canal (MDK) cannot be covered by natural inflows, so that water has to be removed from the Danube and the Altmühl.
For this task, the MDK-Stenne Dietfurt (Diet), Berching (Brch) and Bachhausen (BCHH) are built.
The pumping stations must ensure the operating water supply, which is required to maintain shipping, and a contractually agreed water transfer quantity for the Regnitz-Main area.
The pumping stations have been in operation since around 1991/1992. The utilization of the pumps and the high number of operating hours require increasingly intensive maintenance measures to the planetary drives, the 15 pumps.
The planetary gear is maintained by the Gösselthal (BHF S) building yard.
Measures for maintenance and repair, which the PU cannot be carried out independently, should be awarded with this procedure.
