New pathology - pipe mail. For the entire complex of the Charité Campus Mitte, there is a NW 100 SIMACOM 100B Pipe Post Plant, the company Siemens. This is a two-pipe system with separate transmit and receiving lines. The system works fully automatically with control by the respective rifle. In the course of the construction measure for the pathology, the new laboratory area is equipped with a new pipe mail system. In order to keep the downtime in the supply as low as possible, the pipe mail system is installed while the pipe postal system of the pathology laboratory in EG is in operation. The system is pre-prepared, including compressor device, control components and stations, that enclosing with lowest downtime can be realized. With the Enclosure to the new system components, the connection to the PLC control and the adjustment of the control components must be implemented.
