- RRX - PFA 3.2 Düsseldorf Angermund - Duisburg Schlenk, planning LST Lph3, opt. Lph 6+7 In PFA 3.2, extensive construction work is required for the RRX project. In planning approval section 3.2 from the D/DU city limits to the Duisburg-Schlenk stop (kilometers 53.4-60.1 based on route 2650), a continuous six-track system will be implemented. For this purpose, two additional tracks will be built between the city limits and Großenbaum train station, between the Duisburg-Buchholz stop and the northern PFA border Additional track was built, the DU-Rahm stop was rebuilt, a crossing structure was rebuilt on Wedauer Straße and various railway overpasses were expanded. In summary, the following main LST measures will be implemented: 1) Expansion of the ESTW-UZ Duisburg Hbf has a second sub-headquarters 2) Equipping the new tracks and adapting the existing tracks with Ks signaling technology, in some cases with new track changing operations on route 2650. Numerous signals are provided for this purpose, Routes, axle counting circles and co. adjusted. Linear train control is also installed on route 2650. 3) New ESTW components to be built must be planned to be ETCS-ready and iUZ-compatible.
