Description:
Classic services of recycling and resource management are increasingly being supplemented by an expanded range. For planning in new parts of the city, such as on the site of the former Tegel Airport, concepts for operating appropriate hubs (rooms and lockers, 24/7, self-service, digital controlled) provided. It is also clear that there must be a connection to other services and service providers who offer their services via comparable assets. A consolidation of the logistics processes on the last mile of supply is desired (e.g. with the help ofMicro-depots, where the focus is on CEP deliveries and small commercial deliveries before the last mile on emission-free cargo bikes or made available to the recipient at the depot itself). In addition, a meaningful link should be established from these micro-depotsof supply and disposal are made possible. As BSR, we are investigating whether and how we could meet the needs of the State of Berlin for the construction and operation of such micro-depots and the design of infrastructure solutions for a city worth living in. Based on this purpose, our exand services are optimally integrated into the "last mile" depots. For this purpose, the feasibility is to be checked, an overall concept created and an initial site implemented in order to validate the assumptions of the overall concept and to gather experience.
