- As part of the previous carve-out, the ERP landscape was technically cleaned up and reduced to the BEW-specific data sets, but it still has a complex, historically grown architecture with numerous customer-specific ones Developments (Z programs, modified standard objects, special tables, individual reports) as well as partly heterogeneous process variants. These individualizations limit the ability to further develop, make sustainable system maintenance and more difficult are in contradiction to the objectives of an energy supplier-specific, regulatory-compliant, efficient ERP operation. Against this background, BEW intends to completely replace the existing ERP landscape with a standards-oriented, integrated one Replacing SAP S/4HANA system architecture. The new system landscape should in particular: enable consistent end-to-end processes between FI/CO (incl. FI-AA, PS, SD), PM and MM (incl. EH&S), the harmonization and standardization of functions and Support master data (including Business Partner, Universal Journal, harmonized material masters), enable the use of modern SAP technologies (e.g. Fiori, CDS Views, Embedded Analytics), a future-proof integration to peripheral systems (GIS, DMS, billing systems, reporting solutions) ensure Sustainably meet regulatory requirements (e.g. GoBD, EnWG, energy industry verification requirements).
