The expansion area is defined as the 3rd construction phase and begins at the end of the 2nd. completed construction phase, near the Giersleben / Aschersleben OT Schackenthal district border, on the open route. The extension length is approx. 1,000 m. The section of road described suffers from road subsidence and break-ups. Different Deficiencies in the load-bearing capacity are noticeable and should be regulated by the planned construction work. With the completion of the planned construction phase, the K1373 between the towns of Giersleben and Schackenthal has been completely expanded. In this section is A thorough expansion of the district road including ancillary facilities is planned on the open stretch between the connection to the already expanded section and the town of Schackenthal. The planning is based on RAL 12 (guidelines for the installation of Country roads) and the associated single-lane standard cross-section RQ 9. The roadway width is 6.00 m.
