- Dataport currently operates the product Spider from Flexera and the associated Erunbook in its data center for its customers and itself as a software asset management tool (SAM tool). There are currently five installations, two for Dataport (approx. 25,000 managed assets) and three forCustomers. The systems are managed approximately 100,000 managed assets (servers and end devices) with Windows and Linux operating systems, especially in virtual. In addition, unmanaged assets are also managed. This is based on contracts with flexera and the customers with differentTimes. In order to do justice to the changed request (such as cloud, container, open tource, etc.) in the IT world, Dataport has decided to search for and award a succession for itself. Operating this is offered to the previous customers and new possible customers.Overall, an overall potential of at least 250,000 managed assets for administration via the new SAM tool is accepted.
The contract contains a framework contractual component.
