Description: The Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium (CvO) is located in the Hamburg district of Poppenbüttel. The area to be processed in the specialist class building is 1 961.01 m2. Modifications are only carried out to a very limited extent in accordance with user requirements. A second structural escape route is not available in the existing structure and is secured with an external escape staircase. The surrounding specialist classes are connected to one another so that a "bypass solution" is implemented here.
The construction work will take place while the school is still in operation. It is planned to renovate the building in 3 construction phases. This is done taking into account the needs of the school. During the processing time for the individual sections, 6 classrooms will be outsourced. Due to the lack of alternative options, a container facility is planned.
