- The end of maintenance of the SAP ECC system at the end of 2027 as an external impulse for transformation presents us with the challenge of a comprehensive SAP transformation. In January 2024 we started a strategy consultation. About extensive analyzes and Workshops showed that a greenfield migration from our current on-prem solution to the SAP cloud ERP Private is the right path for AWB. You can find results documents from the strategy consultation in the appendix. As a further building block we have Using SAP BTP and gaining initial experience with the Integration Suite. AWB is integrated into the group environment, consolidation and in-house cash run through the Stadtwerke Köln group. Hosting and basic support of our SAP ECC system is provided by RheinEnergie AG, another subsidiary of the Stadtwerke Köln group. Basic support that is not contractually covered by SAP's Roles & Responsibilities should be handed over to an external AMS service provider. This is what it becomes give another tender. SAP licenses are obtained directly from SAP SE and are not the subject of this tender.
