- UG Messe Berlin is planning to migrate the existing onPrem HANA systems S4 and H4S4 to the SAP cloud. The targeted hyperscaler is Microsoft Azure.

The scope of services of the planned framework agreement is made up of 3 consecutive sub-areas:
1. Cloud migration / project performance
Preparation including customizing of the new cloud systems provided by SAP.
Then lift & shift of the existing core systems including connection of third-party applications involved. This involves, among other things, migrating the existing OpenText archive and archiving the old SAP ERP R3 system. There is also a need to replace the current Business Connector with the SAP Integration Suite. Other applications and add-ins such as xSuite, MC4 Multicash including electronic account statements (AutoBank) and construction cost controlling (Solreco) will also be migrated. Any substitutions will be conceptualized as part of further developments according to the Lift&Shift project.
In this performance module In addition to the above-mentioned services, the partner is expected to carry out further activities:
- Evaluation of the rough concepts developed by Messe Berlin before the contract was awarded
- Preparation including customizing of the new cloud systems provided by SAP
- Detailed migration concept incl. Phase plan
