Description:
General: The execution of the fifth construction phase for the new cardiology department at the Schuechtermann Clinic includes the new construction of building part H as an extension to the existing building. The Schuechtermann Clinic will remain in operation throughout the entire new construction project, which means that there will be increased requirements here to emissions protection. If the existing building is opened to a large area, the in-house hygiene standards must also be observed. General construction description: Component H consists of an L-shaped building wing that is directly adjacent to a functioning hospital building adjacent. The building wing consists of 2 full floors (ground floor, 1st floor) and a recessed staggered floor (2nd floor) as well as a basement floor. Construction: The load-bearing and bracing components including the stairwells and elevator shafts are made of reinforced concrete. The Ceiling construction is made of solid construction. Load-bearing walls are made of reinforced concrete or sand-lime brick. Non-load-bearing walls are made of drywall or sand-lime brick. For the facade design, individual windows made of light metal profiles with a shading system and a post-transom construction are used installed. Between the windows, the post-transom construction and on the remaining facade surfaces there is cladding made of fiber cement panels.
