• Security and reception services for the Bavarian State Library Access control services in the various reading rooms as well as patrols in two reading rooms and throughout the entire building of the Bavarian State Library In the main building at Ludwigstrasse 16, 80539 Munich, access control services (entrance and exit control) are to be provided in the general reading room, periodical reading room, Aventinus reading room, manuscripts and old prints reading room and the East reading room during opening hours. The reading rooms have different opening times and some have restricted access, i.e. visitors may have to reserve a place and/or show access authorization (for more details see service description section 2.1). There are also patrols in the general reading room and carried out in the magazine reading room and throughout the building (mobile security service, see service description, section 2.2).
