DESCRIPTION: According to § 8 Air Security Act (air intimate), each airport operator is obliged to a so-called "self-security". An essential task is to protect the security areas from unauthorized access (§ 8 para. 1 no. 4 airtens) as well as authorized persons before access to be checked and browsing (§ 8 Abs. 1 no. 5 Luftig). The airport operator is also obliged to enable the securing measures of third parties. For this purpose, the safe transport of abandoned luggage to the luggage control systems of the Federal Police (§ 8 (1) No. 2 Airgular) and the participation in manual follow-up checks of given luggage (§ 8 para. 1 no. 3 airgeter).
