Description:
The district of Uckermark says the introduction and operation of a comprehensive EDR/MDR solution* for effective identification and treatment of possible cyber attacks. EDR/MDR solution* EDR: Endpoint Detection & Response MDR: Management Detection & Response. The headquarters of the authority Is located in Prenzlau and other extensions are operated in 3 cities in the district. The connections are implemented via VPN. The technical infrastructure can be referred to as heterogeneous. The more than 1,000 employees of the PCs, Thinclients, laptops, tablets, tablets, set and smartphones for their work. Accordingly, a differentiated operating system landscape from Windows, Linux, Igel OS, Android and iOS. The administration operates this infrastructure on its own. A priority in advance resulted in an end device number of approx. 1,500 (clients and servers). In view of future extensions through increased number of users and equipment, there is a dimension of approx. 1,750 end devices.
