Description:
The Heinz Maier-Leibnitz research neutron source (FRM II) is one of the most powerful and modern neutron sources in the world. As a nuclear facility, FRM II meets the highest safety standards set by the responsible supervisory authority (Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection, StMUV) with the involvement of the expert in accordance with Section 20 AtG. In the course of the upcoming commissioning of the neutron conductor hall east, safety technology is required to monitor the building envelope in accordance with the applicable regulations. The necessary measures were defined as part of a preliminary project outline. The measures include the delivery and implementation of: - video surveillance Alarm verification including management system (17 cameras) - a PSIM management system as a comfort control console - a multifunctional alarm system consisting of an intruder alarm system (approx. 60 sensors) and access control system (1 door) - one Outer skin security with laser scanners (10 scanners) - door, gate and window monitoring Due to the nuclear law requirements, certain components must have appropriate approval or verifiable proof in a comparable application of nuclear law.
