- Sewage sludge utilization plant Technical equipment Delivery and installation of the technical equipment for a mono-sewage sludge utilization plant The association for municipal sewage sludge utilization in Thuringia intends to build a mono-sewage sludge utilization plant (MKVA) with a capacity of 70,000 to build and operate tOS/a. The plant is intended to thermally utilize the sewage sludge generated in the association area. The plant must produce high-quality ash that is suitable for a downstream phosphorus recycling process. The P recycling is not included in delivery. The new MKVA to be built at the Ronneburg site •has to utilize 16,340 tTR/a or 70,000 tOS/a without the use of external (fossil) energy sources, •has to produce a sewage sludge ash with phosphorus that is suitable for further P recycling by third parties, •has the To ensure compliance with the emission limit values of the current, amended 17th BImSchV, • must be able to generate electricity from waste heat using a steam turbine and extract excess heat.
