With this order, the city of Bochum intends to procure general planning services for the Kubus school construction project.

As a school authority, the city of Bochum (hereinafter "client") is faced with the constantly growing challenge To meet the space requirements due to the increasing school registrations in the Bochum city area. In this context, in addition to the need for renovation and maintenance measures for existing school buildings, there is a significant need for the creation of new sports and learning spaces. There is the client is obliged under the School Act to carry out school development planning. In order to fulfill this statutory obligation, the client plans to meet the growing need for space as part of a comprehensive school construction program. This includes necessary new construction, conversions and renovation measures for 27 school facilities. The program covers all types of schools and refers to primary, special and secondary schools. The client's initial rough cost estimates, including additional costs, are between EUR 4 and 145 million (gross), with a total of around EUR 4 million EUR 660 million (gross). The aim of this tender is to procure general planning services for the building at Querenburger Strasse 37, hereinafter referred to as "Kubus".
