Description:
The Kaiserslautern district intends to carry out a general renovation of the Sickingen-Gymnasium in Landstuhl - a four-class high school with around 950 students. The building complex consisting of six components is located at Philipp-Fauth-Straße 3 in 66849 Landstuhl. The renovation will be carried out in two construction phases; as part of the demolition work for construction phase 1, components A (auditorium), C (scientific wing) and the ground floor of component D (main building) will be gutted. In these buildings from the In the 1950s and 1960s (with renovations in the 1980s), extensive pollutant remediation was required. The measures take place when the buildings in the second construction phase are used in parallel by schools; school operations and the construction site are separated from each other.
