• At 933m, the Rudolf Wissell Bridge (RWB) is the longest single bridge in Berlin. Due to its structural condition and the significant increase in traffic in the meantime, a new replacement building is likely to be necessary. is the subject of the project the dismantling of the Rudolf Wissell Bridge, the dismantling of the Charlottenburg motorway triangle, including all connecting ramps to the downstream city road network, the demolition of existing drainage systems, the relocation of existing cables and lines, the demolition of 7 bridge structures in the Charlottenburg motorway triangle, the new construction of the Rudolf Wissell Bridge with two separate structures, the reconstruction of the Charlottenburg motorway triangle with changed geometry including 6 bridge structures, 30 Noise barriers and 6 supporting structures, active and passive noise protection measures, the adaptation of the existing railway systems in the crossing area with the federal motorways and measures of the landscape conservation accompanying plan as a result of the interventions in nature and Landscape and the construction site facilities including access roads.
