Description:
With CHESCO, a center for research into hybrid electric and electric drives that is unique worldwide is to be established. In addition to a research area and a test area, CHESCO will have the "Fast-Make Electrification Research Center (F-MERC)", in which components for electric cocomponents etc. Electric motors, power converters and components for gas turbines can be manufactured in the shortest possible time using modern, fast manufacturing methods. Together with the test area, this should enable fast innovation cycles, which also include findings from the basic researchcurrent investigations. The center is also to be expanded into a model factory with a 5G network and end-to-end digitization of all processes in order to research and apply the principle of the digital twin. The center aims to develop technology that is open to applicationse.g. B. in the application area of aviation.
A simulation software for microstructures, material data and thermodynamics is to be developed.
