Description:
The Stadtisches Klinikum Lueneburg (SKL) is a hospital that provides specialized care. It serves an increasingly large part of the population in northeastern Lower Saxony and employs over 1,500 people. As an academic teaching hospital of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). It is currently shown with 527 planned beds in the hospital requirements plan of the state of Lower Saxony. The clinic has a wide range of medical services.
The Lueneburg Municipal Hospital is planning a parent-child center at the Lueneburg location as an independent extension of the children's and adolescent medicine as well as gynecology and obstetrics. As such, it houses the maternity ward with seven delivery rooms. Furthermore, as part of a comprehensive target planning - after completion - it forms the basis for further future renovations at the SKL: a functional building, among other things, with an extensive treatment and operation area.
