- The State Office for Information and Technology North Rhine-Westphalia (IT.NRW, hereinafter referred to as the client or AG) intends to award the introduction of a software solution for SAM workflow management and other associated processes as part of an open procedure. As part of the project The Flexera Spider solution currently in use is to be replaced, which already supports business processes beyond classic software inventory and accounting through extensive customization. Accordingly, there are extensive options for individualization required by the solution to be offered. The tool mentioned should be offered in the form of standard software as an on-premise solution, which can be operated locally in the client's data center. Another component is the provision of associated third-level support. The AG already has extensive expertise in the area of customizing and operating SAM tools and is also contractually bound to a service provider in this area. For this reason, the award procedure in question will only receive particularly in-depth support In terms of "third-level support" for the solution offered, this is required. Smooth cooperation with the existing service provider must also be guaranteed. Licenses offered must be offered on a rental basis (rental licenses/subscriptions) with the license metric "IT employees". IT employees means the internal and external employees who use software and are shown as license recipients in the solution to be offered. In addition to the delivery and implementation of the solution to be offered, an initial one must be carried out as part of the system delivery (first contract year). License balance is created for the software manufacturer Microsoft.
