The Institute of Space Systems (IRS) at the University of Stuttgart needs sun sensors or Sun Sensors (SUS) for the 80 kg SmallSat ROMEO. The ROMEO mission aims to demonstrate new technologies in low and medium Earth orbits, conduct radiation analysis and observe Earth's albedo. SUSs are an important component of the attitude control system for satellites.These can measure the angle in space relative to the sun with an accuracy of a few degrees.
