- The subject of procurement is the spa monitoring, which is carried out as a permanent task in 44 EU bird protection areas every six years. The spa maps take into account all valuable breeding and migratory bird species. The breeding bird mapping in the spa areas is carried out as a full-scale area mapping according to method standard (Südbeck et al. 2005). The train and resting birds are recorded in the open land and is based on the requirements of the DDA water bird counting. For all valuable bird species in SPA, the conservation scheme is assessed according to LANA decision ("Pinnebergchema").
