Description:
The district of Freising is planning with the construction of the new state vocational school center on
Wippenhauser Strasse in Freising and the extensions of the technical and vocational high school as well as
the business school.the new construction of the school center
with a main usable area (HNF) of approx. 11,000 sqm and the extensions of the existing
school uses with an HNF of approx. 600 sqm Further necessary additions to the
entire school location, such as a 3-fold sports hall with an HNF of approx. 1,700 sqm,
outdoor sports areas,The cafeteria and workshops are provided that enable synergetic use. In addition to the outdoor sports areas, attractive and easily usable
free facilities with good social control are to be created. The existing vocational school on the
neighboring property is to be dismantled. On the freedomAreas of the
former vocational school are then to be created in a second step extensions for the technical and
vocational school and the business school.
The new building measure opens up the opportunity to interweave the school building blocks, which is now isolated, to a
related school campus. The aim isTo create a space beyond a mere reorganization of the
functional areas, which embodies the genius loci as a place of acquiring knowledge, as a place of growing up and the orientation and makes it visible in the
