Stuttgart, University, VISUS extension building, Allmandring 19, 70569 Stuttgart Specialist planning services for structural planning according to Part 4, Section 1 of the HOAI
The 1-story extension (built in 2010) to the Hysolar building (built in 1987, Behnisch office) on the University of Stuttgart campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen should be expanded. The construction method of the extension from 2010, consisting of basement and ground floor, should be exactly adopted and continued. Like the 2010 extension, the building will be covered with earth from the south. The room program includes approx. 83m2 offices, 230m2 computer laboratories, 32m2 seminar room and 35m2 Technical area.
The extension construction must take place during ongoing operations of the institute. The construction site is strongly delimited by the neighboring buildings and a supply canal. At the same time, a large new building project is underway directly adjacent to the south. The extension should be built as close as possible to a supply canal: to achieve this, the VK must be statically supported and its ceiling must be supported during the construction period, so that heavy equipment can also be installed from the east if necessary or loads can be transported to the construction site.
Estimated building costs: 3,400,000 euros gross.
