Stuttgart, University, Telekom area, renovation 1st construction phase. Universitatsstrasse 32-34, 70569 Stuttgart.
Specialist planning services for structural planning according to Part 4 Section 1 HOAI.
The building at Universitatsstrasse 34 in Stuttgart-Vaihingen is to be renovated and converted for university use. As part of this, the adjacent building at Universtatsstrasse 32 is also to be renovated.
The building at Universitatsstrasse 32 was used as a telecommunications school in 1987-89 of the Stuttgart Postal Directorate and was acquired by the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg from the Hertie Foundation in 2015. It's becoming current as Office and seminar building used by the University of Stuttgart.
In 1995 the dormitory was converted into a hotel with the addition of bathrooms. The building, also acquired in 2015 is now to be converted for university office use as part of the general renovation.
This requires static interventions in the existing structure (including demolition and new construction of connecting buildings, changes to the facade and stairs, PV systems on the roofs).
Both buildings will be used during the construction work drawn empty.
