The existing building of the Visualization Institute of the University of Stuttgart (VISUS) will be in the same place Architectural style received an extension. A two-story building with approx. 570 m² is planned, with the basement being below the top edge of the site and therefore no window ventilation possible. The basement must therefore be ventilated mechanically. Individual rooms in the basement and ground floor must be cooled due to high internal loads. The supply of heat and cold will come from the existing VISUS technical center. Breakdown of the relevant cost groups according to DIN 276-1:2018-12: - KG 410 - sewage, water, gas systems: €95,000 gross - KG 420 - Heat supply systems: €85,000 gross - KG 430 - Air conditioning systems: €385,000 gross - KG 480 - Building automation: €110,000 gross Index level August 2025, not The costs for possible construction price and builder risks are taken into account here.
