Description:
Benefits are advertised for a cooperation project in the field of "German-Egyptian Specialist Dialogue on Quality Assurance of Plant Products of Agricultural World Production" between the German Federal Ministry of Nutrition and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Agriculture (Malr). The aim of the project is to improve the structures and systems for quality assurance of vegetable products at the level of agricultural enterprises in Egypt. Since the Malr as a political partner of the project is mainly responsible for the quality in agricultural production up to and including harvest ("on-farm"), the project is primarily geared towards aspects of quality assurance (e.g., with respect to pesticide residues) at the company level. The specialist dialog is not dealing with extra-farm ("off-farm") aspects of food safety (e.g., quality assurance during processing and trade).
