Description:
Services in local rail passenger transport in the Central German S-Bahn network (MDSB 2025 / MDSB2025plus and MDSB2025BEMU), are expected to be awarded in two separate award procedures in accordance with Section 14 Paragraph 3 No. 5 VgV with a total volume of approx. 10.6 million train km p. a. with the following expectedDistribution:
Award procedure MDSB2025BEMU (approx. 1.6 million train km p.a.):
S 1: Leipzig Miltitzer Allee - Leipzig Stoetteritz - Borsdorf - Grimma - Doebeln.
The order also includes the procurement of the services required for the S1 line New vehicles by the ZVNL rail vehicles GmbH nach the BW model practiced in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg by the SFBW Landesanstalt Eisenbahnfahrzeugen Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Award procedure MDSB2025plus:
— Lot 1 (approx. 2.9 million train km p. a.):
S 4: Torgau - Eilenburg - Taucha - Leipzig Hbf (low) - Oschatz - Riesa,
S 6: Leipzig-Stoetteritz - Leipzig Hbf (low) Leipzig Messe / Naumburg,
S 10: Schkeuditz Leipzig Hbf (above).
— Lot 2 (approx. 6.1 million train km p.a.):
S 3: Geithain Borna Leipzig Hbf (low) Schkeuditz - Halle (S.) - Halle-Nietleben,
S 5: Halle-Trotha - Halle (S.) - Leipzig/Halle Airport - Leipzig Hbf (low) - Altenburg - Goessnitz - Glauchau/Werdau - Zwickau,
S 5x: Halle-Trotha - Halle (S.) - Leipzig/Halle Airport - Leipzig Hbf (low) - Altenburg - Werdau - Zwickau/Plauen.
