Description:
Stadtnatur has different functions that have a positive effect on almost all areas of life. It not only represents the livelihood for many animals and plants, but also benefits the people living in the city. In the city, nature conservation and preservation of natural ones serve Green and open space structures, especially the health and well-being of man.
The aim of the project is to contribute to the networking of to provide relevant actors, especially European (EU and non-EU) specialist authorities and ministries on the subject of city nature. For this they should professional Information base strengthened, which promotes international exchange of experiences, as well as political and implementation-oriented recommendations for action and communicated to decision-makers.
The focus of the project is an international exchange and networking workshop in which Above all actors of the administrations mentioned, but also actors from science and practice, discuss and develop selected focus issues, identify challenges and develop concrete recommendations for measures. The technical foundations for the design of the content of the Project events and for the project publications are developed in the screening phase. The project results are prepared as a discussion paper for suitable target groups published.
