Description:
Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH (hereinafter: SWE) intends to build a new heating system (heat generation and heating network). The heat network system is to cover around 40 % of the heat requirement in 2045 by the district town of Eschwege by 2045. For this purpose, the construction of a new heating network in four to five Expansion stages provided. The development of the old town area is to begin in order to expand the heating network in stages by 2045. The district town of Eschwege is largely accessible with the natural gas network of Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH. The total heat requirement in 2021 amounts to around 214 GWh. Around 80 % of the heat requirement in 2021 are covered with natural gas. Around 70 % of the heat requirement goes back to households, the remaining 30 % to buyers in the area of business, trade and services (including industry). A sustainable one for the planning area Heat supply is aimed at. As part of a completed municipal heat planning, suitability areas were determined for a cable heat supply. The intended heat supply concept is expected to achieve over 90 % renewable energy share of heat supply as early as 2035 be completely decarbonized by 2045. Different heat supply options were evaluated ecologically and economically and a pre -selection was made. After evaluating the results, heat generation is pursued for the heat network system using large heat pumps. ...
