State Office for Immigration and Refugees (LaZuF) Neumuenster, complete renovation of accommodation buildings 2 and 4
Subject of the measure: The property of the State Office for Immigration and Refugees (LaZuF) on the Haart arterial road in the southeast of the city of Neumuenster was originally built in 1937 as the Robert Scholtz barracks. Since the barracks were closed in 1997, the northern part of the property has been used by the state of Schleswig-Holstein as an initial reception center for asylum seekers.
Stock: The existing accommodation buildings Houses 2 and 4 have three full floors (ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor) on a partially buried basement and a converted attic under a 45 inclined hipped roof.
The area and volume figures for the existing buildings are:
Net room area (NRF): approx. 4,200 m2
Gross floor area (GFA): approx. 5,000 m2
Gross volume (BRI): approx. 17,220 m³
The floor heights on the standard floors are approx. 3.50 m, in the basement approx. 2.50 m, in the attic approx. 3.30 m. There is an unused attic space above the attic. The eaves height is at approx. 12.00 m, the ridge height is approx. 20.30 m above the ground level.
The roof structures vary:
In house 4 it consists of a reinforced concrete construction on the slope ("coffin lid") with a conventional wooden construction on top.
In house 2 there is a classic wooden roof truss before.
