Station area ZOB / general planning services
As part of the planned redesign of the station area in Limburg an der Lahn, several things are to be implemented Sub-projects are planned that serve to improve the functional and urban development of the area around the central bus station (ZOB). Subproject 1: Dismantling of the existing ZOB Nord including the parking garage above the ZOB. The aim is to clear the area in preparation for the new building. Subproject 2: New construction of the ZOB Nord with modern and barrier-free infrastructure. Subproject 3: Expansion of the Tal Josaphat car park to create additional parking space capacities and to compensate for the parking space lost as a result of the measure. The sub-projects are coordinated in terms of content and timing and together form an essential measure to improve the transport infrastructure and quality of stay in the Limburg train station area. The implementation is carried out in sections in the following order: first sub-project 3 (expansion of the Tal Josaphat car park), then sub-project 1 (dismantling ZOB Nord with parking garage) and finally sub-project 2 (new construction of ZOB Nord).
