Steel pipe relining of Grundablass 1

The measure includes the steel pipe relining of Grundablass 1. It is planned to pull DN1200 steel pipes into the approx. 275 m long Grundablass DN1400. This should be done via an introduction pit in the middle of the base drain. The approximately 80 steel pipe sections must be welded together from the inside in the base drain. A connection to the existing pipe system must be established in the connection areas. The annular space between the prestressed concrete pipe and the steel pipe is grouted with cement suspension. In the course ofMeasures also require concrete demolition work and concrete/reinforced concrete work to be carried out, as well as installation pits to be created. Furthermore, an asbestos cement pipe DN150 must be removed over a length of approx. 10 m and a new pump sump drainage line must be constructed over a length of around 275 m.
