Description:
The middle wing of the building with the headquarters was increased by one floor in 1997 and was therefore largely two-story.
The north-west facing, neighboring wing is to be connected to the existing extension as part of this construction project.
There should also be an elevator be built on the existing corridor between the main building and the OGS, which is intended to provide barrier-free access to all floors of this part of the building.

The task is to provide a static solution The extension of the part of the building and the construction of an elevator should be developed in accordance with the architectural specifications and the current condition. The installation of a photovoltaic system as well as the dismantling of the existing roof and the affected parts of the existing building must be taken into account. The Fire protection, building physics (sound/heat insulation) and general requirements for school buildings as well as the NRW school building guidelines must also be taken into account.
Principles of economic efficiency and sustainability must be given special consideration.
The planned increase in the Building, which is to be built on the 1st floor as a modular timber construction, expands the area on the 1st floor by approx. 490 m2. The new extension should be directly adjacent to the existing extension in the stairwell area and open up this part of the building
