Description:
In the future, the treatment offerings from the existing hospital locations in Merheim, Holweide and the Amsterdamer Strasse Children's Hospital will be concentrated in one location on the City of Cologne's health campus in Merheim. The goal is to provide efficient and needs-based health care by reducing duplicate structures, promoting centralization and specialization and at the same time improving economic efficiency.
The construction project on the Merheim Health Campus particularly envisages the upheaval, renovation and new construction of a wide range of buildings in currently six construction phases (see service description). The subject of this award procedure is specialist planning and engineering services within the scope of structural planning in accordance with Section 51 Paragraph 2 HOAI for the completion of the construction project including the necessary construction of the excavation pit. The contractor is also responsible for building physics services (thermal insulation, energy balancing, building acoustics, room acoustics).
