- Project description: The Dreieichschule in Langen (Hesse) is a public high school with an upper level from 1849. The structural situation of the school is the result of constant development of the existing building since 1958 on the current property. The location on Goethe Street is located on a 26,962 m2 plot. A total of 10 buildings or parts of buildings as well as two container systems were built on this as an interim basis. The reason for this procedure is the commissioning of planning services to realize an extension to the school to replace the Container systems and a reorganization of the rooms in accordance with the specifications of the spatial program in the existing parts of the building. Particularly in building parts 2 and 3, statically relevant interventions should be avoided as far as possible. In addition, the modernization of the scientific wing (building 01) as well as the expansion and structural adjustments of the cafeteria extension to the small gymnasium (building 07) are the subject of the planning contract. The structural engineering measures are contractually divided into three separate measures. Object 1 is the new school extension building.
