- The city of Baden-Baden is planning a new building for the city archive with a historical collection. The archive includes the documented tradition of the history of the city from 1467 to the present day. The historical collection is the "archive of things" that ranges from prehistory to the present day. The archive material is so far in a building complex in the city center, which no longer satisfies today's requirements for fire protection and room climate.
In order to achieve the best possible architectural, urban planning, economic and energetic solution for the new building, the city of Baden-Baden decided on dIt was decided to hold a structural design competition.
