The Havelhaus (draft Reinhold Persius (27.08.1835 - 12.12.1912) is located in the southwestern part of the Babelsberg park, part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Schloesser and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin". The ensemble from a 2 -storey villa in neo -Gothic style and a associated Stable building was completed in 1883. It was created on the area of a burned -down building, the ruin was integrated into the tower villa. All buildings are owned by the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG).
Babelsberg castle and park are available with all structural, gardening and technical systems and enclosures under monument protection (list of monuments of the state of Brandenburg (Midas-Obj.Nr. 09156104);
Many original details, such as the artistically forged train straps of the Chimney stones or the crownings reminiscent of fialt tower on window gables and roof riders are still preserved.
